Typography

Typography is the usage of words in the place of imagery. I used sharpie on a Bristol paper to draw out california. My lyrics consisted of different songs talking about california and I repeted it in a circular motion until all of the shape of california was filled up. 

Name project

This painting is done using acrilic on a canvas. It has my name incorporated into the sand of the beach. It shows color, line, shape and form, contrast space and texture. 

Artist trading cards

These are four of my artist trading cards. They each represent line, color, space, and space. These are only four of 29. They are made on 2x3 cut Bristol paper using markers, stickers, stamps paint and pastels.  

Human Figure

This is a contour drawing of one of Degas Ballerinas. Once the outline was drawn I used acrylic to paint in the inside pattern. This painting shows the following principles of art: pattern and movement. The elements of art represented are texture, space, color, line, and shape and form. 

Still Life

This still life is an acrylic painting on a canvas paper. We chose 3 or 5 things to draw then planned out our composition. This painting shows line, shape, color, texture, balance and contrast. 

Altered Piece of Paper

This is graphite drawing on a normal piece of paper. It is of a piece of paper that we first altered in any way we wanted. The elements of art represented are line, shape, value, and texture. The principles of art represented are contrast and emphasis.  

Color Wheel

This painting of birds on a wire represents the color wheel. I made all of the colors wit the three primary colors. This is painted with acrylic paints on a small canvas. The elements of art represented are line, shape and form, color and space. The principles of art show are emphasis and pattern.
