Seasons
This is a painting of 2 seasons in the exact same scene. The one on the right shows fall and the left shows winter. They both show emphasis on the tree, and movement either by the leaves blowing in the wind or the snow falling to the ground. Then there is an obvious use of color more so in the fall image, and texture in the grass.
Memory Project
This is a portrait that I did of an orphan boy in Cambodia. It shows emphasis because his face is the sole focus of the painting. Color and contrast are shown though the shirt and background, and space is also shown by use of the background as negative space. Lastly, texture is shown through his hair and skin.

Chalk drawing
This is a rendering of Starry Night by Van Gogh. As a group we used chalk to draw on asphalt over a series of days. It shows color, balance, line, contrast, shape, and space. This piece was really fun to do because it was fun to work outside, and it was great to see what we could achieve as a group.
Zoo piece
This piece uses colored pencils and water color paints. It iscacdrawing of an armadillo. It shows pattern, shape and form, line, color, emphasis, and space. This piece was really difficult for me but in the end, the result isn't too bad.
Typography
Typography is the usage of words in the place of imagery. I used sharpie on a Bristol paper to draw out california. My lyrics consisted of different songs talking about california and I repeted it in a circular motion until all of the shape of california was filled up.
Name project
This painting is done using acrilic on a canvas. It has my name incorporated into the sand of the beach. It shows color, line, shape and form, contrast space and texture.
Artist trading cards
These are four of my artist trading cards. They each represent line, color, space, and space. These are only four of 29. They are made on 2x3 cut Bristol paper using markers, stickers, stamps paint and pastels.
